We are heading back to Ukraine in just over 3 weeks. We are excited to return and see our friends. As I write this update, I am just processing the destruction that continues to hit Ukraine. Last night was another rough night with many killed and injured in missile attacks. Russia also hit a border control area with Moldova, and they have been hitting more trains, which is how we get into and out of Ukraine. While I know that God is in control, I also find myself more uneasy about going than at any other time during this war.
On this trip we will be spending much of our time in Kyiv. We will be participating in a Leadership Conference for pastors and leaders from across Ukraine. At this meeting we will be giving each participant a copy of my book “Building Blocks to Reach Your God-Given Dreams”. We will also be holding church leadership meetings with churches across the Kyiv Region. We will travel to Cherkasy Region for a pastors/wives meetings with a group we have been meeting with two times a year.
We know that God has us on this trip to encourage and train pastors and leaders. While it is hard to leave family and friends and go where there is so much destruction happening and uncertainty over safety from the attacks, we know that God will provide safety if that is His plan.
For our ministry we have several fund-raising needs:
- Money to pay for food and travel for pastors’ meetings.
- Resources to help with the costs of the Leadership Conference.
- Funds to provide regional leadership meetings for Children’s Ministry leaders from across the country.
- Resources to help churches with their space challenges as they continue to grow and start second services or expand their facilities.
- Travel costs as we travel to do our ministry in Ukraine.

- That God would use us to encourage and challenge pastors and leaders in their ministry.
- That God will guide us in our decision to move forward with our trip.
- That God will end this war and the destruction happening to Ukraine.
