We are heading back to Ukraine on April 14. Our last trip was in September of 2025. This has been an extremely hard winter in Ukraine. Russia attacked the infrastructure of Ukraine which resulted in power outages, water issues and heating challenges for the people. In addition, this was a cold winter. Fuel shortages meant increased costs for fuel, for transportation and to run generators. These provided some relief from the lack of power and heat.
We tried to provide as much help as we could to assist those in need this winter. Your gifts enabled us to assist several churches with heating needs as well as some individuals who had specific needs for help.
We are excited to return to Ukraine to meet with our friends who continue doing ministry in these challenging times. We will be doing a pastors/wife conference in Cherkasy region. Beth will be speaking at a Women’s Conference in the Kyiv region as well as meetings with Baptist Union leaders and church teams.
In addition, I have just finished my third book – Building Blocks to Reach Your God-Given Dreams. This book captures the materials we have used in our training over the past 7 years. It explains the four-step process of DREAM, DEFINE, DEVELOP and DO. This book was written to help church leaders and pastors find their God-given dreams and help them achieve those dreams.
The book is currently being published and will be available in the US soon. We will be selling at Potential Resources and on Amazon.
In addition, we have translated the book into Ukrainian, and we are in the process of printing 3,000 copies to distribute across Ukraine. We plan to share the content with leaders while we are in Ukraine. Our partner in Ukraine, Vasily Furta, wrote several chapters.
We are praying that God will provide the resources to pay for the translation and printing of this book in Ukraine. We believe this book will be a great resource for churches and pastors across Ukraine and help them as they lead their churches and plant new churches.
We are trusting God to provide the $10,000 we need for travel expenses, conference costs, printing expenses and support we provide when we are in Ukraine. We will be sending out a prayer letter and trip schedule closer to our trip.
